Monthly or annual, the price per seat is the same — annual just skips two of the payments. Field users stay free either way.

How do the two months free work?
Two months free. We ask for a card after you confirm your email, and charge nothing until your two months end. Cancel any time before then. You sign up at app.submark.io/signup, pick your trade, and your setup pack loads before you do anything else: the phases, checklists, material lists and schedule-of-values breakdown in your trade’s own words.
What if it isn’t right after I’m charged?
Your first charge comes with a 30-day money-back promise. Email support@submark.io within 30 days of it and we refund the full amount and cancel your subscription. Details at submark.io/money-back.
Who counts as an office user?
Anyone who manages jobs, money, or reporting: project managers, estimators, admins, accountants, owners and superintendents. Your first three are in the base price, and each one after that is $39 a month. Foremen, field workers, time-clock users, and the subs you invite to your jobs are free.
Do field workers really cost nothing?
Correct. Foremen and field crews clocking in, logging labor and filling out daily logs are free — however many you have. The subs you give portal access to are free too. Nobody has to decide which four foremen get a license. One thing worth knowing before you budget: foreman and field worker are the free roles, along with the subs you invite. A superintendent is a paid seat, and so is any custom role you create.
Can I pay annually?
Yes. Annual billing is twelve months for the price of ten: $2,490 a year for the company subscription instead of twelve monthly payments, and $390 a year for each office user past the first three. That is separate from the two months free when you sign up. On annual, nothing is charged during those two months either, and your first charge, when they end, is for the full year. You choose monthly or annual yourself on the step where you add your card.
What happens when my office headcount changes?
Add or remove office seats whenever you want. Hire a second estimator in March and let a PM go in August, and your bill follows. Nothing is locked to an annual seat count.
What is the founding customer deal?
The first ten companies get 40% off for as long as they stay a customer — $149 a month for the company subscription and $23 per additional office user, held at that rate with no renewal step-up. In exchange we ask for honest feedback, patience while we polish rough edges, and a reference call now and then. You get a direct say in what gets built next.
What does onboarding look like?
Your choice. Sign up and you are in — you pick your trade on the first screen, your pack loads your phases, checklists, material lists and schedule-of-values breakdown, and you can build a real job the same morning. If you would rather we did it with you, we still do: a call where we set up your company, load your active jobs and crew roster, and walk your office and field leads through their first week. Nobody gets handed a login and left with a help center.
What trades does SubMark fit?
Commercial specialty subcontractors, across 29 trades. Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire sprinkler, concrete, roofing, glazing, drywall and framing all have a pre-built setup pack — your own terminology, phases, checklists, material lists and schedule-of-values breakdown, loaded when you pick your trade at setup. It was built inside a commercial subcontractor in Texas, and anything the pack gets wrong you can change in Settings.
Is my data safe?
Every company’s data is isolated to its own account, traffic is encrypted in transit, and the database is backed up daily. And it stays yours — you can export your records whenever you want.
